Designed for complete beginners, focusing on building comfort in the water by introducing basic skills like entering and exiting the pool safely, blowing bubbles, submerging the face, simple kicking motions, floating with assistance, and developing overall water confidence

Focuses on building upon basic water comfort by teaching swimmers how to kick, float independently, perform simple front and back glides, transition between front and back positions, and potentially start practicing coordinated arm and leg movements while swimming short distances, often still primarily in shallow water with instructor support

Focuses on introducing basic stroke mechanics like front crawl and back crawl, incorporating breathing techniques like side breathing, improving water comfort by practicing deeper entries and turns, and further developing skills like treading water, floating on the back, and transitioning between front and back positions
